Will you ever use a branded vehicle when pet sitting?

Never. Our car has removable logo magnets that are only ever used during dog walking sessions and when it is parked at our own house.

Will my keys be stored securely?

Please be assured that your keys will always be kept as securely as possible. All keys will be stored in a lockable cabinet and a number Tag will be attached that correlates with your paperwork that is kept completely separately.

Do you have a Scottish Disclosure Certificate?

Yes, we have an up to date certificate which will be provided during our initial meeting.

Can we arrange a meeting first?

Absolutely. This is a no-obligation, free of charge meeting to discuss your needs and to give you the opportunity to decide if we are right for you and your pets.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured and all documentation will be provided in the initial meeting.

What is you cancellation policy?

We ask that 3 days notice is provided for pet sitting bookings and 24 hours is provided for dog walking. Notification can be made by either a telephone call or email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you are leaving a voicemail or sending an email please ensure you recieve confirmation that your cancellation request has been recieved or the services will still be chargeable. 

What do you do in an emergency?

This is discussed with each client individually when booking our services. We always ask you to provide an emergency contact and your current veterinary practice details. In the unlikely case of an emergency we will try to call you first and if we are unsuccessful we will try your emergency contact. For this reason it is very important you discuss this with the person you nominate before you go away.

If we are unable to reach someone to discuss the situation and the pet needs immediate medical attention we will contact your vet to arrange a visit to the practice.

Are you a member of any professional bodies?

Yes, we are a registered member of NARPS – National Associates of Registered Pet Sitters

Do my pets need to be vet-registered?

Yes, all animals looked after my Animal Antics need to be registered with a local vet. This information is captured on a vet release form that is used to obtain medical tratment in the case of an emergency.
